We strive to create positive change

Our Beginning

We are young active citizens all over the world. Living, communicating, taking action and creating impact in our communities. Few organizations touch as many lives, in as many ways, as the Jaycees.

  • We develop civic leaders.
  • We provide assistance with national and international disaster relief.
  • We support a not-for-profit cancer organization, camps for individuals with developmental disabilities, collection drives for troops serving our country, and other diverse programs.
  • We are involved in their communities running festivals, raising funds for many causes, as well as directly helping individuals in need.

"Impact starts at the local level. One community at a time."

— the ponchatoula jaycees

Our Mission

We develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take action. As globally minded young people, we all have rights, responsibilities and share goals. We find targeted solutions to local issues benefiting our communities, our world and our future. Embracing new ideas, collaboration and diversity, we have the passion and courage to address the critical challenges of our time.

Was the total we donated back into our communities in 2015.

The Ponchatoula Jaycees donated more than 10 truck loads of clothing, toiletries, canned goods, hot meals and more to the flood victims and first responders/volunteers through out Louisiana in February 2016. This multi-day heavy rain saga, dumped several feet of rain on parts Louisiana triggered destructive flash flooding, river and lake flooding and displaced hundreds of community members.
